I pray that this site will be a place of refreshment and growth in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Too many Christians remain in the infant and toddler stages of their spiritual walk, but that is not where Christ would have us be. While we must have that trusting, child-like faith, we are also called upon by Scripture to worship with our hearts, souls, MINDS, and strength (Matthew 22:37-38). Why? Because Satan plants seeds of sin and self in the minds and those seeds bloom to fruition in our actions and our words. Which is why the Apostle Paul urges us to "take every thought captive to obey Christ" (2 Corinthians 10:5). When our minds wrap themselves around the doctrinal truths of the Word God has given to us, we know better how to obey and thus know better how to withstand the schemes of the devil.

So won't you join me as we grow and mature in Christ? Romans 8:29 says, "For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son." Let's learn how to do that --- starting right now!
